A collection of historical Myrtle Beach pictures was once sold by Anchor Bank. This now-defunct local bank was located at 2002 Oak Street. It had been in business since 1974, and was acquired by "The South Financial Group" on 6/06/2000, and continues to do business as "Carolina First Bank".

The "Anchor Bank Collection of Home-Town Classics" contains several pictures taken between 1924 and 1937.
